Angelina Jolie as a bad-ass assassin? We love Wanted! Kit Kittredge: An American Girl is surprisingly appealing. Summer's just started, but WALL-E is already one of the best movies of the season—and the year! Guy Maddin is back with the weird and wonderful (and kinda-autobiographical) My Winnipeg. The long-awaited Mike Myers comedy The Love Guru is simply wretched. M. Night Shyamalan is back in increasingly wobbly form with his unintentionally funny The Happening. We say You Don't Mess with the Zohan when it comes to choosing a movie at the multiplex this summer... really. Start pouring your cosmos, Sex and the City is back, and on the big screen! Check out Linda's review of the mega-hyped Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, then read Vickie's Top 10 Lame Things in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The spy spoof OSS 117: Cairo - Nest of Spies beats Austin Powers at his own game. Robert Downey, Jr. rocks Iron Man, making it a much more enjoyable movie than it should be. Check out many more reviews of what's Currently in Theaters.

Team Apatow release a clunker with Drillbit Taylor. The latest kiddie fantasy The Spiderwick Chronicles comes to life. Catch Under the Same Moon, the charming sleeper hit of the spring. The romantic comedy Definitely, Maybe is surprisingly appealing. Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson are bickering thugs In Bruges. Teen smarty-pants Charlie Bartlett ain't no Feris Bueller. Martin Lawrence's Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins is short on laughs. A bunch of comedians tour the country in Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show. Kevin Bacon and Marcia Gay Harden star in the affecting indie drama Rails & Ties. Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney are fabulous in the HBO mini-series John Adams. Gussying up Disney's The Sword in the Stone in a special anniversary edition alas does not make it a better movie. The short life of Joy Division singer Ian Curtis is portrayed in the interesting yet kind of dull Control. Matthew McConaughey's shorts in the ad for Fool's Gold promised more than the movie delivered. They may be the only heavy metal band, but Acrassicauda knows how to make Heavy Metal in Baghdad. Potential for good sci-fi is wasted in the disappointing Jumper. Sure, Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, and Eric Bana are hot, but The Other Boleyn Girl is ultimately unconvincing. Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman team up for the tepid The Bucket List. If you think winning the lottery will change your life, check out real-life winners in Millions (A Lottery Story). As always, there's lots more in the Video/DVD section.
