Like many, I’ve been looking forward to Michael, Antoine Fuqua’s attempt at a Michael Jackson biopic, with anticipation and a little bit of dread. But I have to admit, the first teaser a few months ago—and now this first full trailer, along with the movie stills—made me gasp. In the recreated concert scenes, Jaafar Jackson looks great, and I loved this first glimpse of Colman Domingo as patriarch Joe Jackson. This crisp trailer has a thrilling energy, and this lifelong fangirl admits she can’t wait to see the movie!
Michael is coming to theaters April 24th.
